About Sensational Seams
Sensational Seams is a window treatment and interior designing company based in Newcastle ON. We work in Bowmanville, Wilmot Creek, Newtonville, Orono, Kendal, Courtice, Oshawa, Whitby, Port Hope, Blackstock, Port Perry and throughout the Clarington and Durham regions. We specialize in custom drapery, blinds, shades and bedding. We use our design knowledge and experience to help you create a space that matches your personality and lifestyle.
Sensational Seams was established by Wilma Kulyk in 1986. Since then, she has been improving and expanding the business. Through the business's expansion over the years, Wilma’s most significant achievement has been to raise her daughters alongside pursuing her passion for creativity.
Sensational Seams is a well-established business that is always changing and building upon new trends, colors, and styles. We focus on our client's taste and personality while designing their interiors and also help them get out of their comfort zones to achieve incredible design success.
We are busy throughout the year. During Christmas, clients love to wow their guests with festive holiday decor. In the Spring, we help clients update paint and refresh their interior design with new trends. During the summer vacation is when many of our clients move into their new home which brings a fantastic opportunity to experiment with new decor styles.
We believe in giving back to our community. We donate to our church and local Christian schools. We are very committed to Christian education and help out with monetary donations as well as auction items for the bazaar and fundraisers. We are also a part of 'Refresh the Church" initiative wherein we are providing complete new interior design including window coverings, paint, furniture and flooring for a more beautiful church space.

Our greatest accomplishment was winning the first place in the Great Canadian Window Covering Challenge. We are also proud recipients of Sales Leader of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Creative Customer Design, Customer Acceptance and Best of Houzz awards.
