I learned about Sensational Seams many years ago from an ad in a local publication. It was time to refresh a bedroom in our home and that included new window treatment.

Wilma presented a few suggestions for the room all of which were quite appealing

Upon completion I was very happy with the option I chose along with Wilma's assistance.

The guest bedroom now looks crisp and inviting and helps complete the updating in our home.

Fay and Tom are always a pleasure to work with.  They have a beautiful home and Fay has such a great sense of decorating.  She is very open to my ideas, and when I see a room for the first time, it's always a wonderful challenge to come up with something unique and creative, to compliment the work we have already done in their home, and reflect Fay's personal taste and style.

The brass bed has been in the family for many years, and Fay loved her white bedspread, so creating a bed skirt was the perfect solution to hide all the bars below the mattress.  Soft, floral fabric in beautiful green tones for the drapery gives the room a calm and relaxing atmosphere.  The metallic gold in the fabric really accents the brass bed, and an upholstered, custom cornice box with stud tacks increases the visual size of the window.  A HunterDouglas Pirouette Shade offers both light control and privacy for the lucky guests who get to stay in this room.
