- What exciting thing happened that made you call Sensational SEAMS?
For this project, our "beloved" horse trailer with living accommodations had a problem with broken strings on our blinds. Since the trailer is our pride and joy for travel with our horses in Ontario and USA, we wanted everything to be in working order and looking gorgeous! - Why did you trust Sensational SEAMS to solve your design problem?
Wilma has done several projects for us in our house that have added to the enjoyment and protection from sun in our home. - Describe the most challenging window or area in your home that needed attention.
This project in our trailer involved having Wilma climb up to the bunk to measure and install our new blinds in very small spaces. Wilma also had to extend existing valences to accommodate the new blinds. The existing colours in our trailer are complex and required careful research to make a fit. We also wanted a change from our original beige blinds. Indigo did the trick! We would never have thought of that ourselves! In the trailer- Wilma had to operate with no hydro and limited lighting. Luckily the project was orchestrated during the warmer months! - The Sensational Solution:
Wilma had no problem bending, twisting and climbing into the tight spaces required for this project!Our existing valences were removed, extended and covered with beautiful contrasting braid to be re-installed with the new blinds. A unique colour for the new blinds was suggested by Wilma and it works beautifully! - When the installation was complete:
